All Recorder – Software to Record Everything
All Recorder, as the name so adequately points out, is a software application that will come in handy when you need to record something. Perhaps the word "something" is not put to goof use here – the word “everything” is better suited.
You see, this 1st benison-developed application records pretty much anything. Want to record sound from a mike, it can do that. Want to record sound from a line-in audio, it can do that also. Want to record music played by media players such as Winamp, Quick Time, Real Player, or Media player, it can do that also. Want to record streaming audio from the web, it will gladly do so.
The list does not stop there. All Recorder can also record sounds from Flash animations, from games, and many more. To put it bluntly, if you can hear it in the speakers, you can record it with All Recorder. Recorded sounds are saved as MP3, WMA, OGG, SWF, WQF or WAV.
Speaking of things you hear in your speakers, All Recorder comes with a neat feature called Voice Activated Recording System that works something like this. While the music is blasting in the speakers, the application records it. When the music stops playing, the application stops recording. The music starts again, the application starts recording again.
Once you recorded and saved and audio file on your computer, you can use All Recorder to edit said audio file. All Recorder allows you to perform the following tasks:
- change the sample-rate or bitrate of MP3, WMA, VQF, OGG, Wav songs without losing quality
- add special effects like fade in, fade out, normalize, scale, squeeze silence, and so on.
- edit audio files: cut, copy, paste, trim, DSP effects.
All Recorder weighs in at some 6.5MB, so downloading it will take but a moment if you’re on a high-speed internet connection. Once downloaded, the application should work just fine on all versions of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system.
